Romance…

When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.
- When Harry Met Sally, Movie

I have been reading too much historical romance for a few weeks now. It is addicting! It’s just so romantic and somehow, the stories take you to a different era where everything is quite simple.

Unfair treatment

A friend of mine recently sent me an email asking for advice with regards to her salary. She was really mad at her boss because during her annual work appraisal, she was told that since she is single and there are far more married women in the department who were senior than her, they thought of prioritizing those people in terms of salary increase. Oh, she will get hers within the year. It’s just that, she is not the priority.

I told her that it is truly unfair of her company to do that to her. Highly irregular also. She said that she incurred a couple of payday loans already because her salary is not enough anymore to make ends meet for her. Too bad, really. I will help her make a letter for her boss stating her case. Let’s see what happens.

Savings

When you are single, you tend to think that money will always be pouring in. There is no need to really get serious in saving money because you don’t have a responsibility to anybody yet. Unlike married women who believe that saving for the future is a paramount concern for them. Of course, I am not saying that all single women are like that. There are exceptions, of course.

So if you are a single woman, in dire need of cash, has no savings or has a savings account but no money in it, there is only one resource left for you to use. A cash advance loan. Or payday loan to most people. Learn more about it so you can avail of it when the time comes you need one.

Sharing and giving a chance

Trouble is a part of your life, and if you don’t share it, you don’t give the person that loves you enough chance to love you enough.
- Dinah Shore

But what if you don’t really have someone to share it with other than your family?

Happy weekend!

A snob I am not

Some people judge me a snob just because I do not greet everyone I cross paths with. I may know you but if I don’t feel like greeting you when I see you, I believe that is my prerogative, right? I mean there are days when I feel like being to myself. There are days when greeting someone is an effort by itself and I don’t feel the need to exert an effort to do so.

In all honesty, I am not a snob. I am just a bit moody. And when I feel like being to myself, muttering about equestrian clothing and whatnot, and not greeting anybody, it is my prerogative to do so. Unless you greet me and I ignored you, then I am not a snob. Am I right?

Useful tip

Having so many friends who are already married would mean that you will most likely be the godmother of their first born kids. I really don’t mind at all. I actually feel ecstatic when I am being chosen to act as one. And because of this, I always have a ready set of baby clothes that I can give when I have to attend a christening. I learned this trick while watching Oprah and that wedding planner gave that tip while showing off his house. I realized that is a very useful tip that I can also apply in my life just because I attend a lot of christenings in a year.

On the safe side

I always say that car insurance is a must. I saw on the news a few nights ago the number of vehicular accidents happening in the metro at the moment. Mostly single car accidents involving a concrete barrier and the driver being drunk or sleepy. Always be on the safe side of things. Always. Do not gamble on your life, much less with other people’s lives. Get a car insurance before you drive that car. Accidents happen when you least expect it. Remember that.

Small business financing

We had a small business before. About two years ago, we had to finally surrender and close it. We were financially drowning. What little cash the business had left we had to pull out for my mom’s hospital bills. When my mom passed away and my dad was ready to take on the business again, well, there just wasn’t enough funds left. A Small Business Loan would have surely made a difference but no bank would lend us operating funds again.

Had we known about EZUnsecured.com’s Small Business Loans before, we might have availed of it. EZUnsecured boasts of an easy process, fast funding, and excellent service. That’s hardly what you can say for most banks.

So for Small Business Financing, be sure to check out EZUnsecured.com right away. Visit the site now for more information.

Drone on and on…

One of the benefits of being a solitary figure is that there is no one who will drone on and on about big cars, used Harleys and men sports to you. No need to pretend you are interested in these things just to accommodate the significant other. No need to put on an effort to listen attentively about topics you are not really interested in. But then again, no one would do the same for you, isn’t it?
