Van for the family

Another goal for next year is getting a car with a car insurance in the package. I have seen several great packages from different car suppliers. I want a van for the family. We travel from time to time and since we are a large family, transportation is always a problem for us. We went to the province last November 1 and we rented a van. I realized that renting a van all the time will cost me as much as buying a second hand car in the long run. Better invest in something I can own.

One of my goals

I am checking term life insurance rates that my insurance agent faxed to me. One of my goals for next year is that to get life insurance for every member of the family. We all need to be prepared for the future. If I can get a life and health insurance in one, that would be great. I believe my insurance agent will be giving me some insurance quotes by today.

Cebu and training

I will be going on a bit of a break this coming week. My sister’s friend will be arriving from Cebu and she wants us to go back with her. I will still be accessing my blogs when I get there but it won’t be as much as usual. But before that Cebu trip, I have to help my cousin with his CDL training first. He wants me to review him on what he learned so far. This training is very important to him for work. Anything for family.

No effect

Shay is asking does alli work at all? She has been using another brand and she feels like it has no effect on her. When I saw her, I thought she was slimmer but she said that there was no change in her weight at all. She is also exercising regularly and has cut off rice in her daily meals. She might just be in a slump but she will check with her weight loss doctor again to be sure.

Niche blogs

There are so many niche blogs out there that I frequent. I love the blogs that offers information on home living and parenting. I also love looking into electronics blog from time to time, when I want to get some information on electronic items. But the blog I frequent the most, I read regularly in fact, is an inspiration blog that I happened upon while bloghopping months ago. It just gives me the lift I need on a daily basis, reminding me that there is Someone up there who looks down on me with kind eyes.

Gift for my brother

When we went to the mall last Thursday, my brother asked that we look at some ipods because he wants a new one. His old one got run over by a bicycle when it fell down while he was alighting a public utility vehicle. It will be my Christmas gift to him. And I know it will be something that he can use when he’s on the road to and from school.

Choosing the best web host for you

I have far more experience with cpanel and changing web hosts than some of my blogger friends. That’s why they ask for my opinion when they want change. I, myself, have experienced bad web hosting in the past. Thank goodness for a well-meaning blogger friend who recommended Bluehost to me. I checked it out and was impressed with the reviews I read about it.

Before I recommended it to other bloggers like me, I made sure I checked it out first on my own. The cpanel is very easy to use and the customer support is better than others. This is what I tell my friends if they ask me about my current web host. I am hosted by Bluehost for almost a year now and the longest downtime I experienced with them is 20 minutes. Imagine that!

But then, I also tell my friends to make sure they read the web hosting reviews at Web Hosting Geeks before making a decision. I could be just taking them for a ride to earn an affiliate commission, right? Well, I am not but I want them to read what others have to say about my web host before they make the big switch. Better to get the real deal not just from one person but from several persons who have first-hand experience with the web host, right?

Web Hosting Geek is a web site dedicated to those people who are looking for the best web hosts in the internet right now. When you go to their site at WebHostingGeeks.com, you will be given a list of the Best Web Hosts of 2008. Bluehost is number 2 in their list. You can read the reviews. You can even read their web hosting blog for more information.

So don’t forget to visit WebHostingGeeks.com immediately if you are on the lookout for the best web hosts of the moment.

Spoken

I love reading. It takes me to places I have never been to. It relaxes me and makes me forget all about my worries even for a short period of time. It makes everything feel like hopeful and positive even if I am reading a thriller. Books do that to me. A good story even makes me overjoyed or super sad.

Lately, because I am working later than usual, I am turning to Audio books. My friends have sent me some and I just finished one. I love audio books because I can listen to it when I lie down on my bed and listen even for a few minutes. It is soothing and no need for me to tire out my eyes. There are days when my eyes are just so tired from all the computer work so reading a paperback or an ebook will contribute more to the tiredness of my eyes.

Just the other day, we are looking at High School Musical books, CDs and DVDs for the little girl at home and I spotted some audio books again. Hmm, I just might go back to buy a couple of it. Or if you are looking for audio books like me, go to Borders.co.uk now.

Bins

One of the most important items I need to purchase is a bin. My sister is asking for brabantia bins so I think I will buy those. My grandmother has diabetes and some other complications. She is somewhat bedridden now and I want her wastes to be properly disposed of. Even inside her bedroom. I do not want used tissues lying around the floor. If there is a bin near her bed, she can use that to dispose of her dirty tissues and other wastes. And then the househelp can dispose of the bin contents three times a day.

That is what we have in mind when my sisters and I talked about our grandmother’s condition this afternoon. Good thing I found MoveCookShop and some infinite circulons. I might buy that one or the brabantia bins. I just have to make sure that I include these in my next budget otherwise I would be short of my budget. Next payday would be a day away and it would be a good time to buy since there are a lot of sale going on. I would have to buy other supplies for her as well.

Anyway, if you are also looking for bins, go to MoveCookShop.co.uk now.
