So true. When we fall in love, we are so passionate about it in the beginning that we often forget that there is still tomorrow to think about. You do not go into a relationship with the idea that the fire of your love, the burning love you are feeling for each other, will last forever. The novelty will wear off and what would be left?

A relationship takes hard work. Overwhelming lust can only do so much in the beginning. In the end, your respect for each other, your patience and the hard work it took both of you to reach a long time of being together will be the sustenance of a great relationship.

As I have always said in the past, every thing in our lives is a consequence of choices that we make. We can choose to be happy or sad, angry or calm. We always make a choice in how we react to a given situation. And because we are the ones making the decision, it is but natural that we are the ones responsible for it.

Choose to be happy. Choose to be responsible for your life. It’s hard sometimes but we can still choose to be positive in some other way.

One of my best friends will be arriving from her stint abroad this coming May. We are both thinking of spending time overnight where we can talk about the past events in our lives. Sort of a slumber party only it’s just the two of us. We haven’t seen each other in person in a long time now so this meet up really excites us. We’ve been friends since we were in grade school and it will be a good time for us to reconnect and bond again.

My cousin who is now working abroad is constantly in touch with me. He told me that digital cameras are on sale there right now. I told him to keep me updated with the gadgets there. I am planning to buy a new digicam as well as a new ebook reader for me. My sister, on the other hand, is on the lookout for a new cellphone. My cousin said that gadgets are cheaper there which thrills us to no end.

My aunt’s notebook computer memory needs to be upgraded soon. She calls me up every now and then to ask how she can troubleshoot her notebook computer. When I went over to check it, I brought an IT expert with me from my previous company and he said that the memory is the culprit to the constant hanging of the system.

Now, all my aunt needs to do is shop for a memory upgrade and her notebook computer will be as good as new.
