Solitude

I saw a friend at the next street carrying an AED brochure. She was teary-eyed and did not see me. I learned from one of her relatives that her mom was the one needing the AED and that she’s still financially unstable to support the medication of her mom. She does not know where she will get the money her mom needs now that she’s out of a job. I feel for her. If I can only help her, I would. But then I also have responsibilities of my own.
