Solitude

There are so many issues my friend, S, is dealing with right now. She’s pregnant, for one. Another is that, she needs to relocate to another city to be closer to work. In fact, I will be helping her pack her things tomorrow using those discount moving boxes that I was able to buy for her. She really needs all the help she can get at the moment. I am afraid she will break down anytime soon, from the pressure of all these personal issues she’s going through right now.

And then, there’s the issue of a growing rift between her and her mom. The latter is the help she badly needs because her mom would be living with her. But she’s entertaining again the guy who impregnated her and left her when he smelled trouble. They just couldn’t meet eye to eye about the guy. And I don’t blame her mom at all. Her instinct is probably telling her the guy is BIG trouble. Much like what my instinct tells me.
