Music Monday: No Air

One of the songs that make me go sentimental is No Air by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown. Let me share with you this song…

Second honeymoon

Ah yes. I can understand their need for a romantic cancun vacation. They have weathered a storm in their marriage and they want to be able to repair and renew their vows. Someone suggested the Karisma Hotels to them. They chose the El Dorado Seaside Suites at the Riviera Maya which is a secluded white sand beach resort of Kantenah. The atmosphere there is relaxed, casual but they are after the sensual extras. Each room has direct access to the beach. No need to encounter other guests when you and your partner are feeling the need for some privacy. There are even beds by the beach with retractable white gauze curtains for some intimate moments.

Yes, they need this. It will be like a second honeymoon for them. I wish them the best.

If you are also feeling the need for some private getaway with your significant other, choose Karisma Hotels. And choose the one that will suit your needs. Visit them at KarismaHotels.com now.

This weekend…

I think I will just read books this weekend. If and when I find the courage to go to the mall to brave the crowd, I will probably just stay an hour or two, three tops. And then I’d go back home to catch up on sleep. I’ve been lacking in that aspect of my well-being for the past few weeks now. It’s time to catch up.

And then I will probably go and organize my tons of magazines in my rack and box. These are all with “probably” in the sentences because who knows, I just might get so lazy tomorrow and end up not doing anything. Hehehe

Happy weekend!

My journey

womanwalking

I have never been afraid of a future of single blessedness. I know that I can take care of myself. I am not bitter about it. I can manage on my own. I have no problems with that idea whatsoever.

Some people regret it, on my behalf. But I tell them that I am happy. I am content.

Nobody believes me.

Do I look like I need some TLC from a man?

Holiday weekend sale

It’s a holiday weekend and malls are conducting their weekend sale until Monday, which is the actual holiday. I am sure electronics will be on sale. I am tempted to go to the mall tomorrow to check out the gadgets that are on my wishlist and how much discount I will get should I decide to buy. I am contemplating on buying a new laptop in replacement of this more than a year old one that I currently have. We’ll see if I can haul my butt out of the house and brave the throng of mall crowd.

Gang of bad men?

My former boss keeps a stock of Padron in his office. When the bosses from the headquarters would come visit our local office, they would gather at the country manager’s office for a cigar break. I remember being so amused because they looked like characters from a scene in a movie. A gang of good-looking men plotting to take over the world! Hahaha

I remember my boss, the country manager, asking what I was amused about and when I told him, he laughed so hard he almost doubled over. They were actually thinking how they look at the staff and they thought they looked like a gang of bad men! Bullseye! Hahaha

Someday…

tunnel

What I thought was an end turned out to be a middle.
What I thought was a brick wall turned out to be a tunnel…
- Tony Hoagland

Someday, I will be out of that tunnel and be in the sunlight once more. It ain’t easy but I know I can do it.

Only I need to have faith in me.

Talks on webhosts

Are you looking for the best webhosts in the market right now? Luckily for me, I am fine with my current webhost. Yes, I’ve encountered problems with them. There were even a handful of times that I ranted about them in another blog of mine. But all in all, I am okay for now. Especially with their cpanel which I am most capable of navigating.

Unfortunately for a blogger-friend of mine, she’s experiencing severe downtime with her current webhost. Imagine, almost every day she’s experiencing downtime and her webhost can’t do something about it. I told her that she better start checking out the webhosts listed in WP Designer. They have a list there of the Best 10 Web Hosting Sites. It’s actually the first thing you will see when you visit their web site. The number 1 web host listed is Bluehost followed by JustHost.com and InMotion Hosting in second and third place, respectively. The web hosts are rated based on Price, Server Up-Time, Reliability, Ease of Use, Control Panel and Customer Support.

Personally, server up-time and customer support are big motivating factors for me. I need to be sure that my sites will be up at least 90% of the time. And when I encounter a problem, customer support is on standby, ready to help me. What about you? How did/will you choose your web host?

Go and check out WPDesigner.com now!

Brisk walking

My sister was inviting me to go walk with her last Saturday. I said no because I want to sleep in. Weekends are for catching up with sleep. With the schedule I am keeping, I badly need to get enough hours of sleep on weekends, otherwise, I will forever be drowsy. My sister is trying to brisk walk on weekends. It’s her form of exercise. I told her that I’d take the top rated weight loss pills for now and will just join her later when I have enough time to squeeze in a brisk walking session in my packed schedule.

Whenever I see him…

I don’t know why he can’t see it but he needs some acne medication, asap! I know that he looks in the mirror all the time, especially before he goes out of the house. But when you see him, it’s like he can’t see what’s there.

He’s been seeing my friend for a while now and whenever I meet up with them, I can’t help but think these thoughts… he needs to go to the dermatologist now! I know it’s mean of me but when you see him, you’d know why it comes to my mind. I am usually very gracious when it comes to my friends’ partners. But with him…

Okay, I’ll shut my trap now.

Overjoyed!

To say that I am happy for my friend is an understatement. I am overjoyed for her! She deserves whatever good she’s getting now from a very new relationship. They’re still dating but the guy is obviously enamored by her. Imagine going all the way to the country from across the world to be with her…

I just pray that the guy won’t change. It’s difficult when you are in an inter-cultural relationship. There are times you don’t know what to expect. I know that my friend can carry the relationship, if need be. And the guy seems like a good person. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that when the guy goes back to his country, it will be sweeter for them.

Problem with hard drive

I had a problem with my hard drive a few months ago. My laptop acted up, probably caused by a virus. Good thing I had an online backup for the files I have in my laptop. Otherwise, I would have gone crazy with the lost files for sure.

I am truly lucky to have a cousin who is an IT expert. He teaches me tricks on how I can save my files from corruption and from viruses that might hit my computer. At least, I don’t have to worry about my files. I have tons of it!

Thinking things through

Hans recently figured in a car accident. He was scared stiff about what happened and made him re-evaluate his life. He almost got killed! He just got lucky because a group of teenage kids saw what happened to him and helped him out. He now plans to straighten out his life. First off, he got a term life insurance just to make sure that his love ones will get something should anything happen to him. He also got a healthcare insurance as well as set aside a fund for his parents. He also stopped partying almost every night.

Seeing your life almost snuffed out of you can really make you think things through. Good for Hans!
