A step further

Taking one step further.

That’s the message left by my friend in one of my social networking accounts. She’s asking the help of Humboldt, a Boston Moving Company, to help her out with her relocation. She will be moving in with her boyfriend who lives in another state. This is a big step for her because she’s never done this before. Her boyfriend is divorced from his first wife.

Humboldt will take care of packing and moving her things. She’s excited, based on the message she left me. I know that she can take care of herself but I am still worried. She knew the guy for five years already. They are co-workers. In fact, he is her boss. Their relationship is a big secret because they might get fired from work. So it come as a surprise to me that she’s even moving in with him. They’ve been officially a couple for a year and a half. Things are moving way too fast for them. I guess she’s old enough to know what she’s getting herself into.

Anyway, if you are also relocating, Humboldt.com is the place for you to go to. They are expert movers. Go and check out their web site now!

Magnet for guys who won't commit

aloneMy friend is hanging onto a relationship right now. A relationship that is vague, no strings attached but with too many benefits. I don’t know why she’s such a magnet for guys who can’t commit. And why she settles for it. I reprimanded her for always settling for less than what she deserves. She’s on the defense, of course.

I can understand that she’s okay with every thing as long as she’s enjoying it. But she’s always left alone. And hurting afterwards. What’s worse, she has this notion that it’s always her fault. That she pushed all the past boyfriends away. That she instigated the break up and all that. Truth is, she’s dumped. One too many. I feel for her. I know that this is her defense against the hurt that the truth will bring. But she’s always placing herself in a position where she’ll likely get hurt the most.

I’ve said my piece. I’ve done my part. All that’s left for me to do is pray really hard for her to emerge as the victor this time around.

Difficulty in collections

My aunt is asking me to help her collect numerous loans she extended to former co-workers, friends and some neighbors. She is in the financing business and she wants to be able to collect most of the overdue loans. I told her that she can get the help of American Profit, a Collection Agency that charges minimal fee in exchange for helping companies who are having a hard time collecting. American Profit is a professional company that is an expert in the field of bad debts collection.

Sure, I can help my aunt myself. I have handled credit and collection before. In fact, I know how to collect from difficult clients. But I told her that there’s something more professional with a company collecting from difficult clients. They command more respect plus they have the resources needed to be able to collect properly.

I think my aunt will get the services of American Profit. She’s desperate already, wanting to get even the principal amount loaned from her. My cousin, her daughter, is about to open a business of her own and she wants to be able to help her out in producing fresh capital for it.

If you are experiencing difficulty in collections like my aunt, go to AmericanProfit.net now.

Lady bug baby crib bedding set

babybedding

I do believe there’s a mother in every woman. I am still single but I have been a second mother to my siblings. For the longest time, I’ve been the one my youngest brother turns to, especially when my mom got sick. She passed away already and the more this maternal instinct to be the second mom for my siblings.

Anyway, I am saying this because I really love shopping for baby stuff. I believe it’s the mom in me. Whenever a relative asks me to accompany them to shop for baby clothes and other stuff, I say yes right away. I love being in the baby section! These days, though, since I am keeping a rather tight schedule, I am doing most of the shopping online. I saw the Baby Bedding Palace and it is really great because I have to buy a bedding set for my friend’s baby. She will be baptized by next week and I am invited to become a godmother. I love the 12 piece baby crib bedding sets they have there and will be buying a set for baby Christy.

The Baby Bedding Palace offers these cute baby crib bedding sets. I love the floral sets. But for baby Christy, I bought the lady bug design because according to my friend, she is attracted to anything that has color red on it. It will make her smile for sure.

For lovely and quality made baby crib bedding sets, go to BabyBeddingPalace.com now!

Take the plunge.

plungeTake the plunge. They said that if you don’t take risks, it’s like you are living on the sideline, letting life pass you by.

It’s scary. I am one of those people who are not big risks-taker. I’m scared of failing. I’m scared of leaving my comfort zone. I am not an adventurous person. And when I know that with the risk I’d take my family will get affected, I won’t gamble on it.

I took the plunge one time. I took the risk. I fell in love with the wrong guy. I knew it. I knew it was wrong, that it wouldn’t amount to anything in the long run. But I took the risk… and failed. Big time! From then on, I stopped. It’s not worth it. I caused heartache to my mom then and I wouldn’t want to do that again to my family.

Take the plunge but be prepared for the consequences.

Fear of taking risks

Lyn, my friend, will be cross country moving by next month. She was offered a very good opportunity she can’t pass up and have decided to accept it. But the opportunity requires her to relocate. She was hesitant at first because she’s grown accustomed to her place but then she realized that opportunities like that come once in a lifetime, she might as well get out of her comfort zone and take the risk.

I admire her for that. I hate taking risks. Especially a big one like the risk she’ll be taking. I hate losing, failing. I’d rather stay in my comfort zone, thank you very much. But there are days when I’ve been thinking if I’ve been passing on so many opportunities because of this fear.

Alone time

beach

Yes, there are days when I want to be alone… When I would love some peace and quiet for both my body and soul. Prayers help. But a serene place where I can commune with nature is even better. I talk to Him wherever I am but when it’s quiet, I can “hear” Him more.

I’m in need of some alone time. Soon.

Favor to a friend

I have been a purchaser in one of the previous companies I’ve been with. So it is no surprise that some people from that company call me up from time to time. Like last week when they were looking for a supplier for projector headlights. The problem is that the supplier I know is no longer in business. Thank goodness I know Carid.com carries this item. I told them about it.

I am usually not really chummy with my former co-workers and I don’t entertain queries like that. But some of them became friends even before I said goodbye to the company so it’s more of a favor for a friend than anything else. That’s okay with me.

Music of my soul

I am a big music fan. When I work, music keeps me company. Like right now, I’ve been busy working my ass off with music on the background. A local radio station plays wonderful slow music on Wednesdays and early Thursdays. I love it! I always make sure I am tuned in during these hours/days.

Right now, Josh Groban is singing She’s Out of My Life. Ahh… Sweet music!

It reminded me of those times I was so stressed out with work, riding the bus and dreading the coming hours. I hated my job back then! But to calm me down and set things in motion for me, I would wait for a favorite song to be played on the radio and it would soothe my high-strung nerves.
