Moving to his condo unit

My best friend will be moving in to the new condominium unit that he bought a few months ago. He had the place professionally decorated and it’s now ready for him. For a smooth move, he contacted Humboldt.com, a Boston Movers company who specializes in relocation. If you want a hassle-free move, then Humboldt is the company you are looking for.

I am so proud of my best friend. He’s come a long way from being the poor kid, class clown to become a licensed accountant who’s now holding a high position in a prestigious international bank. Life is really like a wheel. Sometimes you are up, there are times when you are down. Now is my best friend’s time. He deserves this good fortune. He’s been working so hard for years and now he’s reaping what he sowed.

First a condo unit. Now, he has a second-hand car. Things are really going his way these days. I am actually very excited to see his condo unit. I will be helping him pack some personal items but the bigger ones he will let Humboldt.com take care of it.

So, do you need a moving company like my best friend? Then go to Humboldt.com now!

*This is a friendly reminder from our friends at Humboldt.com.

Aunt's new house

My aunt’s house was flooded when typhoon Ondoy unleashed its heavy downpour here in our country. Now, she and her husband bought a new house – bigger and in a higher place so no floods!

They are also buying new furniture since the old ones were destroyed by the flood. My aunt told me what they want to do in the house and one of the things she told her husband that she must have is a bigger bathroom so she’ll have her own sanctuary of sorts. They’re looking for tiles to put in the bathroom walls.

I can’t wait to see their new home and I’m sure it’s going to be beautiful like the previous one.

Importance of insurance

Car repair shops is a booming nowadays because during typhoon Ondoy, a lot of cars floated and had been damaged beyond repair including my uncle’s SUV.

My friend also experienced the same thing. His car was damaged by the flood and is now in the repair shop, too. Well the good thing is that my uncle’s insurance covered the damages on his car but my friend, I feel sorry for him because he doesn’t have a mechanical breakdown insurance. Now, he learned the importance of having an insurance so I’m sure he’s searching for one right now.

To-do lists

Lately, my sisters and I have been talking about our own to-do lists. Our to-do lists range from simple to crazy to super complicated ones.

The important thing in our lists right now is to have our own life insurance. Life is so unpredictable and having an insurance is like having a security blanket. We are searching the web for the best life insurance rates that is suited to our budget. We need to have an insurance as soon as possible.

Anyway, next on our to-do list, a new house!

Web hosting you need

Some website owners are very particular with the kind of web hosting that they want. For some expert WordPress and Joomla users, they want a php web hosting. This kind of web hosting service is for PHP users who want to have the utmost control on their sites.

I know someone, a WordPress power user if you can call him that, who is very particular with the PHP files he uses. Probably because he is a power user. He makes the most out of his web hosting service. Unfortunately for him, his current web host has limits his use of PHP somehow. I can’t really understand the technicality but that’s what he told me. So now he is looking for a new web host.

According to WebHostingChoice.com, Just Host is the web hosting site that offers the best php web hosting for 2009. Would you like to know how much you need to shell out per month? Only $3.95! It’s that cheap! A lot of people are already transferring to this web host because of its affordability. Remember that most web hosts offer the same features, there are only slight differences to them. Like with Just Host, it’s the use of PHP. But the most basic difference is the price.

To know more about php web hosting, go to WebHostingChoice.com now.

Into fitness

My brother is asking me if I can get him a dip machine for Christmas. I didn’t know what it was until he explained it to me. I thought it’s an ice cream dip machine. Ha! Ha! Ha! It turned out that it’s a fitness equipment.

My brother is into fitness for months now. He wants to have a well-muscled body and if you see him, his efforts are already paying off. Already, his body is developing into a well-built one. So I am inclined to buy him that machine. Better that he in into fitness than into a bad habit, right?

Scary sickness

Many men are availing of the colon cleanse products that can be found in the market now. That’s because men are more susceptible to colon cancer than women. I am scared of this sickness because I know a woman who got sick even when she was living a healthy life. She took care of herself really well, even foregoing food that she knew would be bad for her. But all in vain.

I was shocked when I learned about it. A very healthy woman got sick with colon cancer. What more a person like me who’s been living a very unhealthy life for years now?

Wedding options

Kelly has been hearing from friends about destination weddings. She is getting married to her boyfriend of four years by next year. So she is looking into what options she has for her wedding. A friend suggested the Karisma Hotels.

Karisma is offering an experience of mind and body when you book a wedding in one of their resorts. I checked it and there’s El Dorado Royale Spa Resort and El Dorado Seaside Suites which are both for adults only. There’s Azul Beach and Azul Blue which are great for families. And the Hidden Beach Resort which is for naturalists. Kelly likes the El Dorado Seaside Suites. Thank goodness she and her fiance are only inviting a handful of people and are all adults.

For more information on these different resorts, go to KarismaHotels.com now.

New way to educate

Do you know that there are cosmetology schools in tennessee offering a different approach to cosmetology education? It’s Regency Beauty Institute. For over 50 years now, Regency has been teaching students about cosmetology and from two Minnesota schools, it now has almost 30 campuses in nine states! That’s how aggressive they are at wanting to educate about beauty. As a unique approach to teaching, they have incorporated an actual training for the students. Each campus of Regency is patterned after a high quality salon. Services are offered by the students to the public for a discounted price. And the students are monitored closely by the faculty. Go to RegencyBeauty.com now and know more about a new approach to cosmetology education.

Blind Date

Have you tried going on a blind date?

I did. Twice. I remember the first one was in high school. I actually know the guy but I didn’t know it would be him that my friends were setting me up with. When I saw him, I immediately shut down. Sure, I like the guy. But then I had no intention of dating him. When he sensed that I didn’t like the setup, he, too, shut down. We never did get to talk about anything. It was really a childish thing to do and I still cringe to this day when I remember it.

The second one turned out to be a friendly dinner only. It was a double date that my friend and her boyfriend set up. We didn’t have anything in common but I must say that I enjoyed the night laughing at his jokes.

There will be no third time for me. Thank you very much.

LOL
