Hard work

She’s getting her stuff online these days. She’s extremely busy with working, saving up for the down payment for the condominium unit she’s eyeing. Her clothes are mostly from Free People and she’s even on a diet to save on food and electricity. I actually admire her hard work. It’s impressive.

I used to work just like that. I would go to the office as early as seven in the morning and would go home a little over midnight. There’s too much work to be done especially during end of the year. I never complained. I thrived on the pressure of the work environment. People even saw me smiling all the time and I know they could see how much I loved what I was doing back then. Until the stress took its toll and I had to stop. By the time I stopped, the hard work was already paying off, with the family benefiting from it, too.

Bad kind of love

With all the brouhaha surrounding Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao‘s alleged illicit affair with starlet Krista Ranillo, you’d think he didn’t win his recent bout with Miguel Cotto. But who wouldn’t be drawn to the drama, right? With Jinkee Pacquiao crying during a thanksgiving mass for the Cotto win, the video of Pacman with a woman some say was Krista after his guest appearance at the Jimmy Kimmel Show, and the appearance of the Ranillo family in Las Vegas with Krista and Jinkee bumping into one another at a Channel store… oh the drama! You were surely hooked! Am I right?

We might be forgetting something vital in this whole drama… an illicit affair is not something that we should all just gloss over. It is not something to be laughed about. Instead, we should encourage those who are engaged in one to stop and think about the people they’re hurting in the process. The guy’s wife and kids. The girl’s family. It’s a bad kind of love. If they are really in love, make a clean cut first.

And now we have the Tiger Woods situation…

Wrecked!

I do hope he has car insurance. He wrecked his car once again. This is the third time, if I am not mistaken. His dad already warned him that the next time he wrecks his car, he will shoulder the costs of repairs. He’s fed up with his negligence. He feels like he’s not taking care of the things given to him.

Well, if I were in his dad’s shoes, I would feel disappointed and frustrated as well. Who wouldn’t?

Eloping

There are truck accessories on our neighbor’s driveway. It’s blocking their garage door. They were puzzled why it was there. I couldn’t tell them that it was put there by their daughter and her boyfriend. They eloped during the night and to prevent her parents from following them by car easily, they blocked the garage door.

Imagine that! I didn’t even know there are still couples eloping. But our neighbor did. Why do I know? I was one of the few people who overheard the neighbor’s daughter frantically calling her boyfriend the other night. I was out with some cousins, waiting for a cab to pass by when we heard a girl crying. We didn’t mean to eavesdrop but since the girl’s voice was a bit loud, we couldn’t help but overhear what she’s saying.

I do hope everything will work out fine for all of them. Family is important.

Born to love

They say…

We are born to love.
- Helen Fisher

And I believe it. It doesn’t mean romantic love only. Love can also be for persons who are close to you. Your family, friends and other love ones. Yes, it can be your partner. Or it can be towards things or your pet.

Life is extremely lonely without love. I don’t even think it’s even life without it.

What do you think?

Personalized wedding anniversary invitations

50th Wedding Anniversary Invitations

50th Wedding Anniversary Invitations

I love going to wedding anniversary parties. I just got the Wedding Anniversary Invitations from two relatives. And I will surely attend both. There’s something really inspiring with anniversary celebrations and I want that kind of inspiration these days.

The first anniversary invitation is for the 50th year wedding celebration. Imagine lasting that long. That’s a feat, if you ask me! There aren’t that many couples who can boast of that. The other one is for the 10th year celebration of a cousin’s marriage. Both impressive marriages, I must say.

I found out that the 50th anniversary invitations sent out are from CardsPersonalized. They offer unique and exclusive designs of 50th as well as 25th wedding anniversary invitations. You can personalize any design they have by adding a photo, picture or logo to it. It would be really great to put a photo of the couple celebrating their anniversary in every invite sent out. Should you wish to have the invites rushed, they also offer same day printing and shipping. Go ahead and bookmark the site like I did: http://www.cardspersonalized.com.

Eyes for safety

Lately, I feel more secure going inside an establishment that has security cameras around. There are so many scary things happening around the country that it is better to have eyes looking everywhere at all times. I heard in news programs that the national police have put up CCTV cameras around the country, in strategic locations. This is good news and a vast improvement in the security situation of the country. I appreciate this move by the government because we need it.

As I’ve said, it is better to have eyes looking at you all the time if it will ensure your safety.

Young love

The young lovers are planning to go to Orlando. They are checking which orlando resorts will fit their budget. They are both overly excited because it is their first time to go on a trip alone.

Young love is really the giddy kind of love. Where everything is peaches and roses. And when nothing can go wrong.

Whenever I hear a story of young love, it makes me smile and remember when I was young and I see everything through rose-colored glasses. All around me was full of joy and happiness. I realized recently that it doesn’t matter if you got your heart broken so many times in the past. What’s important is that you risked loving and getting loved in return. Because you know, when you grow old, you remember everything with fondness. And a smile. Even the heartaches and the teary-eyed nights.

Flirting

flirt

Flirting is okay as long as you are not hurting or stepping on anyone in the process. I don’t get it why some girls go for the married guys. I mean, come on! You can do better than that. Why flirt with disaster, right? And getting into a relationship with a married man is disaster in the making.

I read that some illicit celebrity relationships started out with flirtations. Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. And so many more. Remember the infamous Chris Brown-Rihanna incident? There were rumors that what triggered it was Chris flirting with someone else while he’s with Rihanna.

Flirting is okay, fun. Just make sure you are flirting with a single guy.

Different kind of investment

Investing in a different kind of investment than the popular ones can be risky. Especially if you are doing it by yourself and you are not really knowledgeable with the type of transaction you are entering into.

The Monaco Rare Coin is part of the Monex group that is the trusted leader in rare coins and other precious metals investments.
