The little kids are so happy with the promotional pens the visiting doctors are giving away. The pens are shaped like bones so it’s extra special for them.

I just love how kids react to things. Simple things for us adults can be extra special for them. They can express so much emotion over things that we adults deem irrelevant. Life is so simple to them and clear cut that there are days when I feel like we all need to go back to that state.

Especially on days that stress is making me question my sanity for being in a complicated situation…
