Cooking seems to be the fastest way to a man’s heart. Good food that you cooked yourself. I think this applies to both men and women.

I keep teasing my friend about how her husband professes his love for her on Facebook every time he’s full from a great dish she cooked. In that alone you can see how true this saying about food and a man’s heart.

My brother is madly in love with his girlfriend. I can see it in him. Other members of the family are not so happy about it but for me, I am thinking that if it’s meant to be, then it will not end so soon. And it if it will play out like any other young love, I think it will fizzle out by the time they graduate from college.

I don’t want to antagonize my brother. It’s his life. As long as he is not doing anything illegal or something that I can clearly see that he will regret in the future, then I let him be. Most especially in the love department.

The only thing I ask of him is to take his studies seriously, graduate on time, and make the most out of his life.

Mika, our neighbor’s adorable pooch, will undergo dog training. The neighbor wants her trained. She sleeps inside the bedroom and can go around inside the house freely. Of course, they want the pooch trained to make sure that she won’t create chaos or messed things up while no one’s looking.

When I heard about Mika’s training, my thoughts immediately went to Milo, our beagle. Makes me want to get him trained as well. He is just a stubborn dog who only listens to the men in the house. He doesn’t want to listen to us females.

Hmm…

Nate has a shining crown. You know, a patch on top of his head without hair. He’s been suffering from hair loss ever since he hit 30. He is tired of all the teasing from his friends. He is going to try a hair loss product and be done with that shining patch of his crown!

He is hoping to grow his hair back. And prevent more hair loss. He doesn’t want to have to shave his head bald. He will do his best to get back a full crown soon.

It’s a risk to fall in love with someone of a different culture. A friend of mine took the risk and fell in love with someone from abroad. It took them less than a year to figure out that they can’t live away from each other so the guy processed my friend’s papers and took her abroad to live with him. They are getting married before the month ends.

I was talking to my sister a couple of nights ago about falling in love with someone older, more mature and wiser. A man who is done with all the trivial things and is up for the more serious stuff. Like settling down. But… and this is a big BUT… I am hoping with a man who isn’t keen on having a kid anymore. I don’t plan on having a kid. It’s a long story why but suffice it to say that I am afraid of the kid getting my bad genes. You know, cancer, diabetes, kidney ailments, heart diseases, etc.

It’s a risk but if I fall in love with someone from a different culture, I will accept it with open arms.

Joni will have to undergo an adult acne treatment before she can get that smooth skin she’s always wanted to have. She has suffered from acne all her life. Until recently that she has saved enough to start getting treatments for it.

It was just lucky of her not to have been teased about her acne. Some kids get teased mercilessly for having an acne-marked face. But with Joni being all friendly to everyone, she didn’t experience any unpleasant moments that could be attributed to her acne.

She still wants to get rid of it all! With or without any unpleasant memories attached to it!

I love a man’s toned body. I know that some women likes a leaner body, but with me the more toned and muscled a man’s body is, the better! I saw this guy at the coffee shop reading up fore factor reviews and I looked at him and saw that he is still not that developed. I concluded that he wanted the same body as the one on the site.

Who can blame him? A toned body can give a guy the confidence he needs. Plus it is attractive to most women. Like me!

There’s this guy I know who left everything to follow the mother of his child to the US. He left his life, his family, everything to be with her! He didn’t even think about what would happen to him abroad. He just left his life here in the Philippines. All for love.

It would have been great to end that paragraph with a happy ending. Alas, they didn’t end up together after all. The guy drifted. He was lucky he got an amnesty because he became an illegal immigrant for a time. He couldn’t get a job. He couldn’t follow the girl and his child when they relocated to another state. For a time all he could think about was he threw away his life for

I am glad to tell you that he is fine now. He is slowly recovering from the bad experience. He is friends with the mother of his child and he sees his daughter from time to time. He is now a legal immigrant of the state he is in. He has a job. And he thinks he found the girl he wants to be with.

He traded everything for love but all is not lost.

My friend can’t live without her blackberry phone. She BBMs everyone in her list every day. She met someone through BBM and you can say that she became a big fan after.

A couple of weeks ago, she almost lost her phone. She’s gone crazy looking for it and was near breaking point until she found it inside a drawer in her vanity! When I asked why she was going crazy over a phone, she explained to me that she communicates with her special someone through it and she can’t imagine herself not talking to him even for a day.
