Love nest

Matt and Sally’s love nest is a place they treasure the most. It’s actually a bungalow that they lived in when they were not yet married. It’s a house near their workplace and when they finally tied the knot, they invested in a bigger house anticipating the birth of their twins. But instead of letting go of their love nest, they opted to keep it. They even had both their houses installed with home automation systems just to make sure that they have control of their houses.

Matt and Sally often spends their weekends at their love nest. One time they forgot to turn on the security alarm of the house. Thank goodness to home automation that they were able to turn it on without going back.

Would you?

Would you go out with a guy your friends make fun of?

coupleIt depends. If I am so into the guy, then why not? I will just have to tell my friends to back off and give the guy a chance. But if I just want to test the guy or I’m not really into him, I would rather be friends with him first. Again, I will have to tell my friends to back off.

I remember thinking about this when a guy and a girl from high school became a couple. I found out about it in Facebook and I was one of the first ones to discuss it with friends. The guy was a class clown. The girl was one of those we didn’t notice but was just there. But it just fascinated all of us that she fell for the guy. To be blunt about it, he is not good-looking. He isn’t someone you can proudly bring home to mom and dad. He isn’t filthy rich that you’d fall for his pocket and would ignore his other flaws. I guess the girl really fell for him then.

But it made me question my beliefs. Am I really that shallow when it comes to love? Am I like everyone else who would ridicule, laugh, make fun of an odd couple? Do I shake my head and think it stupid that a girl fell in love with a guy everyone makes fun of?

Are you? Would you?

Top spot

Jon met Bea at work. They both hold sales jobs positions and are really good in what they do. In fact, they are ‘competitors’ for the top spot that will be left as soon as the Sales Director retires. And it will be really soon!

But Jon and Bea are not really fighting it out for the top spot. They are secretly seeing each other. They are actually thinking of telling everyone about their relationship but that would mean one of them has to resign. The company doesn’t allow couples to work there at the same time.

After the passing of the directorship post, they will talk to the big boss about their situation. After and not a day before that.

Transformed woman

There are things that we don’t normally do but can and will do for love. Like shop for a man. I know a woman who hated shopping for her ex-boyfriends. She didn’t like picking out what would look best for her man. But when she met him, she was transformed into someone else.

She now loves shopping for her man!

You now often see her picking out blac label clothing for her man. She loves dressing him up. She actually loves seeing the clothes she buys for her on him.

Love can really do wonders.

Spoiling oneself

sunset-hammock

I think we all have to spoil ourselves from time to time. Even once in a while will do. We need to indulge, spend big on ourselves. Go to a spa and get a whole body massage with so many things on the side (foot spa, hand spa, facial, etc.). Go on a holiday by our lonesome and book a suite in a posh resort. Go to a tourist destination and act like we don’t have a care in the world by spending on tourist attractions!

Sure, we will surely find ourselves blowing our savings on one single trip. But hey, we all need those mind-numbing happiness associated with a total indulgence, right? Anyway, money can be earned again. But time lost isn’t.

There’s still hope…

I was watching Airplanes by BoB and Hayley Williams. The girl is so pretty! She is like the younger version of Gwen Stefani who is also a fave of mine. It got me thinking of oxy elite pro. Might make me as sexy as Hayley and Gwen! What do you think?

A friend of mine told me that there’s still hope. And I believe her. There’s still hope for me to lose weight. Hey, have you seen Jennifer Hudson lately? Girl really put it together to become that svelte! If she can, I most likely can, too.

Now, if only I can buy a box of discipline, I’d probably be successful in this goal of mine.

Macho appearance

She wants to buy camacho triple maduro cigars for him. She is not sure if he will smoke it but she knows how much he likes to keep appearances so he’ll surely like her gift.

He likes to maintain this macho appearance that their childhood friends know. And she doesn’t mind it. She knows the real him. He is a good guy who loves her so much. That’s why she doesn’t mind that others think he is this tough guy who doesn’t show much affection but in reality, he is the sweetest guy she’s ever known. Cigar and all!

Getting weary

Truth be told, I am getting weary of finding ways on how to change the ranking of this blog. I have done so many things to change the gray juice stuck in the toolbar but it’s no good! It’s still the same.

I am not wishing for a high rank. This blog used to have a rank of 1. No gray for this blog, please! But a zero will do.

I hope the internet gods are listening…
