Fall in love with a superwoman!

Superwoman

I don’t see any reason for a man NOT to fall in love with a superwoman. Unless that man is a wuss and has serious self-esteem problems!

I love the cute photo above and thought I’d share it here. You know why? Because I know for a fact that men love those damsels in distress better than the ones who are independent and can take care of themselves. I’d like to point out that there is nothing wrong with falling for a superwoman, someone who is assertive, strong, independent, brave and is under a higher income bracket.

Who are you with now?

Happy Friday!

Keeping in touch

A friend of mine has a blog that she maintains to keep in touch with her love ones spread across the globe. She is a wanderlust and she makes sure to update her blog from time to time to let her family know where she is and what she’s up to. Her blog actually just started out as an online diary of her travels abroad. But then she became a globetrotter that instead of sending various emails and text messages and making expensive overseas calls, she thought she might as well tell everyone who matter about her blog and how they will know more about what’s happening to her through it.

Since her blog’s audience grew not only to include all her family members and relatives and friends but also to strangers who are looking for travel guide and tips, she thought of getting her own web hosting account to have more control of her blog and its content. She wants to be sure that the content of her blog won’t disappear while she is on a trip. Her blog also serves as a memory holder of all the good and bad things that happened to her on various trips.

She is currently online looking for the best web hosting provider to meet her blog’s needs.

The little stuff counts.

I believe that if there is one thing I learned this year it is that the little stuff counts. No matter how little a thing is it can grow big and somehow it will matter.

And when it comes to budgeting, coins count! I actually learned this the hard way. I had a fight with my dad over coins (of all things!) because of kids singing the carols. I had no more coins left because I don’t keep it. I normally let it lie anywhere in the house and just let anyone who needs it pick it up. As a result, I don’t have enough coins in my wallet.

No more of that! I will now have a small purse dedicated for coins only!

The little stuff do count, you know.

On the other side of the planet

I3U

Lines are burning this time of the year. I am sure of that! Love ones who are on the other side of the planet are finding ways to communicate online with their love ones in the country. Vice versa. I know because I’ve been there. Actually one of my very good friends is in the other side of the planet now and we use Facebook and Gmail chat to communicate with one another.

I remember the time when only snail mails and voice tapes were the means of communicating with love ones abroad. It took days, sometimes weeks, before a message would found its way to the hands of the recipient. No wonder so many people working and living away from their families found it hard to cope with the loneliness and the homesickness. But these days, just booting up the computer, going online on whatever means of communication you prefer is enough to ease the loneliness and homesickness of someone living on the other side of the planet.

Safe and insured

2012 is coming. With all the traveling in place this holiday break and all the festivities we want to go to, I don’t think we want to have fun worrying. Be safe and insured!

My friends will be celebrating Christmas and New Year’s Eve outside the country. I reminded them to check their insurance plans and make sure that all are in effect. You just never know when you would need it. Am I right? We all never know when an emergency will strike so we are better with plan B set up.

Come look here and get that insurance plan now.

I need some warmth!

I truly think it’s time for the marmot jackets to come out of the closet and be worn. It’s increasingly getting cold these days! Can you feel it?

I get cold easily. I think my health really suffered from all those sleepless nights of the past years. Work really took a beating out of my body and I am reaping the consequences of my neglect. I hope that the ‘repair’ I am doing will help me get back on the best of health.

For now, I really need to bring out the jackets to help me stay warm.

I will fall for a boy who…

Fall for a Boy Who-

If you are single like me and still on the lookout for that guy to fall in love with, then the ‘guide’ above is a useful ‘tool’ for us. We need a man who will do, if not all, some of the things written above.

I would like to add that I want a man who will be faithful and love me for who I am. I want a man who can be trusted even if we’re miles apart.

What are you looking for in a man you want to fall in love with?

Happy weekend!

Men and women, heads up!

Men-Women

Men and women have different ways of showing their love. Men normally aren’t very vocal but are more action-driven. Women, on the other hand, are more affectionate and vocal and aren’t shy in showing their love for their guy. Different ways but if it leads to showing love, then I don’t see any problem with it ;)

Men and women are really born differently because if we are alike, then there will be no more interest between us.

Looking for fun!

I know that the women wearing french maid costumes at the bar were looking for fun. I could see it in their eyes that they were there to find someone and have fun for the night. I wish I have the guts to do that as well!

I had a classmate in college who would frequent this joint near the university and would meet guys there. She would date one or two and would stick with the guy for a week or so and would move on to her next target. My college friends and I would ask her what it felt to be with a new guy every now and then and she said that it’s exhilarating and she’s never bored, to say the least.

Maybe I should go look for fun, too, to bring back the excitement in my life eh?

Stay true!

Brave Hearts Stay True

Brave Hearts Stay True

I am searching for graphic tees when I found this Brave Hearts Stay True from Ed Hardy. I just love it! I will be attending a 50th wedding anniversary this weekend. A couple who are relatives who stayed true to their marriage for 50 years and now they want to renew their vows to prove to the world that there are still marriages that last.

I just know that the Ed Hardy graphic tee Brave Hearts Stay True will be a tribute of sorts to the endurance of the marriage of my relatives. I will make sure to tell them about the shirt.
