DIY wedding

One of my very best friends is already planning her wedding which will take place this year. It will be a do-it-yourself wedding as she will do most of the stuff like invitations, wedding favors, etc. My friends and I who are all here in the other side of the planet will find a way to help her with her wedding planning and preparations as it would be not really feasible for us to go there.

I am looking for stackable chairs for less as well as a cheaper tent rental for her. She already told me that with or without my presence I will be one of her bridesmaids so I will really do something to be able to help her fulfill her dream wedding come true!

Sleep in.

sleep in

Hey, it’s Friday! Why not plan something for just the two of you. Something laid back. Like a movie marathon with lots of popcorn and cuddling by the sofa. Or just a sleep in at your place. Anything just for the two of you without having to go out and be in a crowd. Something quiet and hassle-free and doesn’t have to be done in a rush.

And then this weekend, sleep in. Together. Snuggle and cuddle.

Happy weekend everyone! Have fun with your special someone!

New to the biz

I know that Sandi, a friend from way back, is just in her 6th month in business. She opened a boutique and is now in the process of creating a web site dedicated to promoting her business and showcasing the different items she has in stock. She assigned her brother to help her out in setting up the web site and now her brother is reporting to her that he is researching on the best web hosting provider right now. He is narrowing down his choices to three but is leaning more on choosing Justhost.

Sandi’s brother is doing his research at AlreadyHosting.com, a site dedicated to those who are researching about web host providers and what potential clients can benefit from them. There are so many webhosting companies out there offering low monthly payments but what exactly do clients get out of their payments? That’s what AlreadyHosting.com has in their site, a clear view of what’s in store for a potential client for each best web hosting company existing right now.

If you are looking for a web hosting company like Sandi and her brother, check out AlreadyHosting.com now and make sure to read the features of each webhosting provider as well as what current and past users have to say about the company.

Sweet kiss ♥

Sweet Kiss

May we all find that one man who will kiss us sweetly whether or not we need that kiss. On the forehead. On the cheeks. On the nape, neck and shoulders. On the lips.

May we all find love today, tomorrow, and for the rest of our lives!

Happy weekend everyone! Love, love, love! ♥

Who doesn’t?!

sexy girl

I wonder who doesn’t want to be as sexy as the girl in the photo. Who doesn’t?! I find it hard to believe if you will say you don’t want to be as sexy as her! Of course, I also want to, you know ;)

Someone suggested to try apidextra. It might help. There are other things we can all do, too, but I want to bank on the sure ones. I don’t have a lot of money to throw around on test products so I better buy the sure ones, don’t you think?

Public display of affection

PDA

Call me a prude but I am not all for PDA or public display of affection. PDA is okay depending on the location and time. There are countries where making out in the middle of a street at high noon is fine. But there are countries where people are conservative and necking is just in bad taste if you do it in front of others.

Are you comfortable with PDA, either doing it or seeing it done in front of you?

Let me know.

Everyone present!

They were all seated around the reclaimed wood dining table looking excited and about to burst with good news. When Mina walked in, she didn’t know what to make of it. She was confused and was about to ask her parents about it when her boyfriend suddenly came out of the back door and walked towards her.

He knelt down and she knew!

After just a year of being together, but knowing each other since they were little kids, her boyfriend proposed to her, asked her to marry him and be his wife. She said YES!

Everyone got up and gave them a hug and congratulated them. Mina was so overwhelmed she didn’t notice she was crying all the time it was happening. Tears of joy that she will be marrying the man of her dreams.

When he walked in…

I was waiting for years to find the one man who could make my heart skip a beat again. It happened in high school when my heart was still young and carefree. It never happened again. Or it might have but I took no notice. I was busy with a lot of things then. Now, I am ready. My heart and mind have been prepared for a long time…

I was standing by the pile of yoga bolsters in a corner of the studio when he walked in. He was not there to attend the yoga class. He was there to bring the yoga mat that his sister forgot. I was not the only one who noticed him. I believe several heads turned when he walked in. He had that compelling personality. A type A man. My type. I didn’t know I was holding my breath until he looked at me and smiled. I almost choked! He said hi and I thought I would faint. He recognized me, he said. He’s from the same college as mine!

He said goodbye after. It was just small talk. I don’t know if I will see him again. I hope I will. But my heart is now drumming that familiar beat. It has woken up and is doing the happy dance.

Teenage love

teens kissing

I was also once a teenager. I experienced love (or was it?) and also felt a rebellious streak against the parents. But I guess I was one of the lucky ones who listened to their parents wise advice to take the time to fall in and out of love, meet others, enjoy my youth, have more friends and just let life take its course. In short, I didn’t hurry love.

Some of my friends did. I am not happy to say that two of my closest friends who married in their teens are now separated from their husbands. Both have kids from their marriage so there’s only half a regret in their hearts. Still, had they waited they could have met the men who would truly make them happy… or would they?

I am not saying all teenage romances end up in bitter separations. Some were successful, might lead to forever. No one really knows. But statistics say that teenage love should remain in that period… in our teens! It should serve as an inspiration to us. It should be something fun. It should be a preparation for the mature love that we can find along the way.

Tuesday night out on a date

They were going out on a date and she had to come from her hospital duty so instead of wearing something fancy for the date, she met him wearing her nurses uniform. And with the look he gave her, she knew that he didn’t mind. He gave her a tight hug and a kiss and he asked right away if she was still okay coming from an 8-hour shift. He is always that thoughtful and caring.

They always go out on a date on Friday nights. It’s their night as they are both always busy at work. They also spend Saturdays at her place and Sundays at his. That’s their schedule.

But that night, it was a Tuesday, he just called up and asked if she could have dinner with him. Of course, she said yes. She loves spending time with her boyfriend. Turned out that Tuesday night was the night he would propose marriage to her.

They both went home happy and hopeful.
