Going on a blind date can be tricky, that’s for sure. It can all go wrong. Or it can be the start of something great in your life. I once succumbed to my friends’ pressure to go on a date to someone I haven’t seen or talked to yet. He is a friend’s cousin. The date was okay. The guy was okay. And that’s the problem… everything was just plain okay. Nothing spectacular happened. I believe he felt the same way. We still see each other from time to time. We became sort of friends because of the date. Comfortable is how I can describe our relationship towards each other now. Do you know at one point he even mentioned acne cream that he needed to buy? Comfortable. That’s all it’s ever going to be.

There is nothing more annoying than being barraged by negative thoughts on a special day. Last weekend was supposed to be a rest day for me. But there were urgent issues to be resolved. Then a friend called me up to tell me something about Orovo detox. There were just too many things going on at once that I feel more tired now than last week, before the weekend I was looking forward, too.

One of my all-time favorite movies is The City of Angels. Nicolas Cage played an angel who fell in love with a mortal played by Meg Ryan. It was one of those movies where the sad ending was justified. And it would disappoint if it ended otherwise.

I would rather have had one breath of her hair, one kiss from her mouth, one touch of her hand, than an eternity without it.

What is your all-time favorite movie?

Have a great week everyone!

Odd emotions are doing a roller coaster inside me. I was looking for unique baby gifts for my godchild when melancholy struck me once again. I saw it coming. This melancholy comes when there is something that triggers my yearning for that elusive something. And my godchild did just that. It will go away soon, I know. But as long as I haven’t found that unique baby gift, I doubt this will lift.

I always find that inspiration strikes me unexpectedly. Much like what life has been dealing me with lately. So to make sure that I capture every single idea that comes to mind, I make sure I have my notepad with me and at least two pens with me at all times. I remember an inspiration struck me when I was aboard the local jeepney. I just pulled out my notepad and a pen and I was able to capture the inspiration for my next story.

I am really sorry to all my advertisers and regular droppers. I totally forgot that Entrecard does not allow non-English blogs. This blog is primarily written in English, except for my Litratong Pinoy entries. I could have inserted an English explanation but was too complacent that it’s okay to just write it all in Tagalog.

I already made an appeal. I don’t know if I will get my account back. If so, then thanks. If not, then so be it.

Your fairy is called Feather Hailwitch
She is a protector of the lonely.
She lives in high places where the clouds meet the earth.
She is only seen in the enchanted moment between sleep and waking.
She wears pale blue like the sky. She has cheery turquoise wings like a butterfly.

When I started this blog, I actually thought of making this just a photoblog. I gave my sister a free rein but she found the job that she wants and left this one to me. You might have noticed that Bahchi.com stopped joining memes for a period of time. Well, that’s because my sister no longer takes care of this blog.

Since I will be the new boss here *sniggers* I thought of making this blog a blog about LOVE. Anything to do with that word will be posted here.

So welcome to the “new” Solitude.

Bamboo is really killing me. He has the best voice for me! Sobrang ang ganda ng boses niya super! Ladies of the 90s and those Rivermaya (the original one) fans out there can attest to this…

When Bamboo sings, it’s like he is singing just for you alone. I love 214 by Rivermaya. The Bamboo version, that is. Whenever I hear this song, it sends goosebumps down my spine. I just heard it a couple of minutes ago.

What better way to start a music cum photo blog but on this day… which is a leap year! Leap year happens every 4 years and I thought, why not coincide the creation of this new blog of mine this day, ayt?

Thus, the Solitude is born!

Welcome everyone!
